The ILM Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management from Iridium provides managers and professionals with the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform as effective coaches and mentors as part of their day to day role. It is run by Gill Graves a very experienced coach, mentor, supervisor and facilitator. The programme is highly interactive, fun and demands a highly level of participation.
This ILM Certificate in Coaching is made up of three core components:
1.The characteristics of effective coaching and the business case for coaching
2.Building of core skills for coaching and reflection on the ethical and moral issues inolved
3.Planning and delivering at least 12 hours of coaching in line with organisational goals
There are two work assignments, a work based plan for implementing a coaching programme and a coaching/mentoring diary to meet ILM requirements.
The programme is run exclusively as an an in-house programme over 7 days split into an introduction day, two two day workshops and two one day workshops, typically over a 4 to 6 month period. Each programme is bespoke and tailored to the organisation and so is incrediblre value for money. Day 3: Learning Styles and the GROW model
Day 4: Career Transitions and Work/Life balance coaching
Day 5: Coaching through Change and Challenging Conversations
Day 6: Emotional Intelligence and Leadership
Day 7: Integration
Once you have completed the ILM level 5 Certificate in Coaching there are the options of continuing study to achieve the Level 5 Diploma or the Level 7 Certificate. Supervision for coaches is also available.
